God I hate the internet, why on earth do I feel the need to start a blog. Even though that question will take a very long time to answer all i know is that I must start one, just to record whats going on I suppose. Although I must say i have the dulliest life, involving coursework, cake and crappy television.
I am extermly annoyed today, firstly because my Stardoll Superstardom ran out so now I dont get any bonuses and its actually quite an addictive site so I am going to end up spenind £1.50 just to play with a few extra dolls haha. So yeah not only that I have a ton of work to do but I just cannot be bothered.
I have been thinking of compiling a list of 'must see' movies. Not a film buffs list but a list of staple films everyone should have see (at least once). If you have any suggestions feel free to tell me them as im sure ill leave something out! It will become apparent over the next few blogs that i am a lover of the moving picture. I literally do spend all of my time watching films or television. This is as I have no life and that is no joke. Actually I dont spend all of my time watching the screen, I do sometimes pick up the pen and actually write something although thats not going so well.
At the moment i am writing the story of Big Dave, a once big time con-artist who retired after the rest of his team were killed. Now, a few years later, he is sent information on the killer of his team. Big Dave then sets out to hire a new team, so what else can he do but put an ad in a national newspaper. His respones arent exactly inspiring; a depressed housewife, a small time sexy swindler, a burlesque dancer and a garden loving hitman! It is meant to be a comedy and i know how its all going to go but I just cant start it. It will come though im sure. I dont know how to start, i think I am going to start with them turning up to Big Daves digs and then like just reveal their past lives and Big Daves past in flashbacks. I dont know, its hard, ill probably give up soon because I usually do. I think this is the fifth story ive started this year! I will probably return to them all though, I must do some writing!
Gosh I actually love writing this. So troops, or anyone who reads this please comment with ideas for a staple list of must see films! Im thinking Godfather (part 1), at least one Hitchcock, you know the films that everyone should see, like every woman should have a black dress. haa :)
